Our office is one of the few divorce practices that specializes in international divorces. Divorces with international aspects can be very complicated. Which court has jurisdiction, under which law should the matrimonial property regime be settled as well as partner and child maintenance. And for each aspect a different law may apply.

Eveline Minkes is your partner for international divorces that can be conducted in the Dutch language. In the case of a mediation process, the international aspects are elaborated by Joosje Venema. Joosje Venema is a lawyer and has specialized in private international law.

If the language of communication in the mediation is English, Joosje Venema will also be your discussion partner.

If there is unilateral counseling, your divorce will be supervised by Eveline Minkes and attorney Catelijne Boshouwers, Vfas attorney at BSS Advocaten. Eveline Minkes is the financial and tax specialist and Catelijne Boshouwers takes care of issues regarding the matrimonial property regime, parental custody and maintenance with international aspects.
